Artists and other creative professionals are invited to apply to stay and work at Te Henga Studios, throughout the year by participating in artist-in-residence programs and other residency opportunities. These opportunities offer conditions that are conducive to creativity and provide their guests with context, such as working facilities, fabulous natural environment, connections with other arts practitioners, and potentially the audience, etc..
Whether you are in the finishing stages of writing your manuscript, or starting work on a new painting or a sculpture, preparing a new stage show ... this can be a perfect space for you and your work. As well as running different residency programs and providing a range of opportunities for artists, Te Henga Studios is open to everybody to apply for individual or group artist residency/retreats.
